• Visual assessment-vision test, DV&NV. Colour Vision test, field of vision, Pinhole test.
• Undilated retinoscopy - verify retinoscopy reading and find out whether the patient's sight improves with glass.
• Dilated retinoscopy -verify dilated retinoscopy reading after contraction of pupil
• Diagnosis of strabismus
• Low vision management
• Contact lens dispensing
• Slit lamp examination
• Other Responsibilities
• Assist the Ophthalmologists during the procedure
• A Scan
• Perimetry (HFA)
• Pachymetry
• Corneal topography
• Aberrometry

Required Candidate profile

• Candidate must be qualified in Optometry/ Ophthalmic Assistant(Diploma or Degree)
• Preferred only Male Candidate.
• Only experience candidates will be considered.
• Candidate must have knowledge of Following:-
• Refraction & Retinoscopy.
• IOP (NCT. Schiotz Tonometer).
• Biometry, Keratometry
• Slitlamp Exm.
• Contact Lence Fitting.
• Patient Counseling.
• Minor OT Procedures Syringing, Senstivity.
• Pre-Operative & Post operative work up.

Salary: INR 1,25,000 - 2,50,000 PA. + Performance Based Incentives

1)Full time Diploma in optometry.

2)Full time Degree in optometry.

Salary: ₹ 1,00,000 - 2,00,000 P.A.

Job Task & Responsibilities:-

1)Perform comprehensive eye and vision examination & assist with the best possible products.

2)Diagnose eye problems and assist them accordingly.

3)Troubleshooting and product upgrade.

4)Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses and medications if required.

5)Product Dispensing and customer handling.

6) A-scan, keratometry, foreign body removal, dilating patients and taking intra-ocular pressure.

7)Detail Contact lens dispensing.

8) Job timings 10:00 AM TO 09:00 PM, one Weekly off.

IMP NOTE:- Minimum THREE(3) Years commitment required.

Optometrist should be compulsorily expert with all above practices.

Expertise Required :-

1)Excellent customer service and communication skills.

2)Computer literate well verse with MS excel/powerpoint/word.

3)Value added Sales and Troubleshooting.

4)Clinical and customer data management.

Discipline required to be followed

1)No mobile usage during working hours.
