Core responsibilities
- Visual assessment-vision test, DV&NV. Colour Vision test, field of vision, Pinhole test.
- Undilated retinoscopy - verify retinoscopy reading and find out whether the patient's sight improves with glass.
- Dilated retinoscopy -verify dilated retinoscopy reading after contraction of pupil
- Diagnosis of strabismus
- Low vision management
- Contact lens dispensing
- Slit lamp examination
- Other Responsibilities
- Assist the Ophthalmologists during the procedure
- A Scan
- Perimetry (HFA)
- Pachymetry
- Corneal topography
- Aberrometry
Note: The employee is expected to attend to any other work entrusted by higher authorities for the smooth functioning of the hospital
