Education: Any Graduation, Bachelor of Science(Other), Diploma(Other).
Nationality: Any Arabic National, Filipino, Indian

Commission, OT, Transportation, private medical insurance, 2 yearly ticket will be provided by company.

Job Description 
Examine all patients as per the “eye test essential” to detect signs of abnormality, visual defects, and issuing prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses
 Check for signs and symptoms of general health conditions (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, etc…)
 Communicate with patients to get detailed case histories
 Use specialist equipment (e.g. Phoropter, ARK, Retinoscope, Ophthalmoscope, etc…) for diagnosis and testing
 Check fitting and quality of prescribed lenses in order to correct vision defects
 Offer help and advice for patients choosing frames and lenses (life style dispensing)
 Refer to doctors in case of suspected pathology
 Meet branch/store sales targets with regard to selling glasses and contact lenses
 Participate in continuing education and training
 Supervise and train junior staff
 Manage the inventory and merchandising of retail aspects of glasses, contact lenses and other vision care products
 Liaise with the team for coming-up with innovative ideas leading to the development of the branch/store

Desired Candidate Profile
Competencies (required knowledge, skills and academic qualifications)
 Bachelor degree in Optometry
 Valid optometrist License / registration (depending upon the country of origin)
 Minimum 2-3 year work experience preferably in Optical retail
 Excellent knowledge of most common optical instruments and their application
 Good communication skills
 Fluent in English mandatory, and Arabic is appreciated
 Team player
 Hard working
 Customer service oriented
 Excellent knowledge of major international brands available of frames, sunglasses, Rx lenses, contact lenses and solutions
